J had his first trip out to my parents' last weekend, and our first car ride in a while. He slept the entire way there and G did a good job keeping herself entertained too. Had a very relaxing weekend, super nice. Found a four-leaf clover as soon as we got there. Eric and I went out in the canoe. And the best part - 30 uninterrupted child-free minutes in the hammock together. We even saw a bald eagle fly down the creek.
