spring cooking

Didn't have the right type of pasta in the pantry. So oddly enough, I would rather make homemade pasta than drive to the store with three kids. The results were better anyway. 

 A pot of pretty simmering pink,

for rhubarb strawberry pudding cake. Good warm with ice cream, better the next day.

Dill is a fantastic, bright match for roasted carrots.

Making sauce to use up some of those cans of tomatoes in the pantry.

Almond cinnamon buns. Because sometimes you have to use dough in a tube.

And one of my favorites, that I now have at least one other person with which to enjoy. A weeknight dinner of lamb shanks for Charlie and I.
