kale revisited

We had a pretty good day today. Considering no one wanted to take an afternoon nap (except me) and Eric wasn't due home until 7pm.


So we made the best of it. I asked G if she wanted to go to a store where she couldn't touch anything. She said yes, so off we went -- antiquing. Pretty good haul. A amusingly titled book from the '40s. Some cheery yellow linen napkins and the best bargain, an old wooden soda crate (that I had been eyeing the same one at PB), but for only $9! And G and I shared an ice cream cone on the way home.

For dinner, soup. Five ingredients, including kale.
