adventures

Six years ago, the two of us reclined in a limo, step one in the transatlantic journey of our honeymoon.
Today, Eric had to work. The kids and I went to the library, as usual.
Back in the car, everyone buckled in, I made an on-the-fly decision. Rather then heading home, we had a little adventure. We grabbed some lunch and headed out for a picnic.

Where is this exotic gem?

Didn't even have to leave town. It was a beautiful day. Peaceful, the water a caribbean blue. I wondered why we didn't come here all the time. Oh yes, the pollution, the locale. But I'm feeling adventurous. I think we will be back. With swimsuits. I did grow up swimming in Lake Erie after all. And I don't have six toes. Yet.

  1. Way to embrace spontaneity!
Oh my....I just glanced at the highlighted links. Just don't drink the water or visit after dark and you should be fine.

so, is Lake Effect on your summer reading list?
