shells and fish

I went on a seafood bender last week.
Lobsterpolloza at my favorite grocery store got me this gem for $10.99. Nice lunch!

Trout was also on sale, so for a solo dinner I found a recipe in a book I've been using a lot lately. Stuff it with orange and basil, wrap it in bacon and roast. Delicious.

Another from the roasting book, shrimp roasted on top of a bed of herbs (served over risotto). Another winner, even in the pancetta didn't crisp up.

Oh and the dessert that night could not be beat - raspberry clofoutis. Very, very good. Also good cold, the next morning, trying to keep my share out away from the forks of children that eat their own too fast.
