She really likes the oatmeal cookies the have for snack time at school. She asked me to make some. I've never made oatmeal cookies before, I told her.
"I could ask my teacher for the recipe," she offered.
"That's really sweet,"I said, "but, I'm pretty sure they just buy them at the store."
"You're right, I think she gets them at Wal-mart."
So I had to find a recipe. I found one, it was a secret recipe.
(I used chocolate chips instead of raisins.) I thought they were pretty good.
"Are these as good as the ones at school?"
"Yes."
(pause)
"These are WAY better than the ones at school!"

BTW, the recipe was secret, because it was hiding. Perhaps it is hiding in your pantry too. It's under the cap of the Quaker oats can. Super secret.
