lunch bunch

G had the option of staying at school an extra hour to eat lunch and have additional play time. Though she asked about it occasionally, just this month we finally got around to trying it. Part of the reason it took (me) so long, was because I had to find the 'perfect' lunch system. There are hundreds of options and she will have to use the 'trash-free' lunch approach at her new kindergarten anyway. So I finally settled on the lunchbots for now, as they seem to be a good size for her. After using one of our dozen or so (free, giveaway, technology/food product endorsed) insulated lunch containers last week, her new lunch bag also arrived. Still deciding on the best drink container. The one I bought said it was 'not to be used for dairy'---WHAT?!?

So here are her first two lunches.

She loves Lunch Bunch, by the way. Too bad she only gets to go to one more. School is over next Wednesday!
