Memorial Day aftermath

I kept telling her I'd explain what Memorial Day was all about. You know, when I had time.
Today, she said,
"I know three things about Memorial Day."
"ONE (she's all about counting things off on her fingers lately), Daddy's don't have to work on Memorial Day."
"TWO, Some people celebrate Memorial Day."
"THREE, We have dessert on Memorial Day."

She did have her facts straight.
So then we had a nice little chat about war and death.
